We are all mirrors within a mirrored hall;
Reflecting upon each other,
Seeing other people as they see you,
Seeing ourselves as what we think others think of us.
I, you, we, us,
All reflections of each other.
We polish ourselves to madness;
Working towards that perfect gleam.
We seek to find ourselves,
Only as clean as what we reflect.
Gazing longingly into mirrors,
We try to see ourselves for what we really are.
We are lost and confused,
Dazed and afraid
While walking down this mirrored hall.
